 I had a lovely day, started with midnight Rocky Horror with Hayden (we got married! XD) and then lunch at the Fish Market in downtown San Diego with our families and chocolate cheesecake at my house and finished with late night "Labyrinth" with Meg. Good times were had. Also, I finally have a new computer, since my old one was pretty much dying and wasn't powerful enough to run my art programs well, so things should be good now!

For some reason, I haven't been able to post anything or look at/answer notes. I don't know if it's my computer or browser or what, since I know other people have been able to post things and it's kind of frustrating, since I've had a lot of things from class that I'd like to post. But to be honest, I've kind of lost interest with the site. It seems like every time I go on, there's more crap to wade through, more apps and popups. To me, it's becoming more of a social site, like facebook, and less of a good place for artists to share their work and get constructive feedback. For my art writing class, I have to put together a potential resume and cover letter for an Illustration/Entertainment Arts major. I've never made a resume before and I was wondering if there was anyone out there who's done this before and/or works in the animation or illustration industry and might know what kind of things companies look for. Unfortunately, I don't have much experience outside of school and commissions, and I know most companies don't want to know about furry stuff. I believe this is mostly for practice for class and the cover letter is more of a what-if thing, but it'll be good to finally have some form of resume to show.
