Green is not your colour

Another fairly old piece that I’ve been meaning to post for awhile now.
Envy has always been one of the sins that I seem to struggle with the most, at least inwardly, which sometimes makes it worse, just letting things build and fester. I don’t so much covet other peoples worldly possessions, but rather things like close friends and relationships. It used to tear me up inside to see my so-called “friends” constantly blowing me off, seeing the comradery they have with each other that I’ve never really known. (Even stupid things, like being jealous of Hayden’s roommate while he was away at school :I And being peeved when friends would go to the movies without me) I guess it just kinda sucks to feel like you’re alone/unwanted. And it honestly made me a little bitter, though I rarely show it. So here’s my own personal envy monster, a pathetic and selfish creature whose bitterness is eating it from the inside out.
Just had to get it off my chest, I guess. I find it sometimes helps to draw out your problems, vent a little, and hopefully slowly conquer your inner demons. Plus, I dunno, I just like drawing monsters!

(and yes, I know this looks pretty close to the Envy monster from FMA. I should draw that guy sometime…)
